The President's Letter

Members,

 First I’d like to wish you all a happy New Year.  Secondly, I’d like to welcome our newest members.

 Lastly, I would like to give you all an update on our past events and our plans for the remainder of my term.  Over the past six months were either sponsored or were invited to the following events.

	(September) Hanover Area Business Briefing with Jim Micek (Director, GSS) – Arranged by Evan Eller (Chapter 345)
	(October) Crab Feast – Arranged by Guy Cordier (Chapter 345)
	(November)  Slade Foundation Jazz Piano Night Fundraiser – Arranged by Guy Cordier and sponsored (Chapter 345)
	(December) Sarah’s House Adopt-a-Family Holiday program – Arranged by Peggy Lamoreaux, supported by Antonio Sorrell and sponsored by (Chapter 345)

 Fortunately, all of these events had very good turnouts or were very successful.  For the next six months, we plan to focus more on professional and leadership events/programs.  From our last committee meeting, here are some of the topics we are considering.
