Leaving A Positive Footprint

Please be aware that it is an NMA tradition to “leave a positive footprint” wherever we gather. At every CLT (Chapter Leadership Training) our Community & Communications Committee selects a local charity for NMA to sponsor. We then ask all of our attendees (as individuals, and as chapters) to consider making a small, financial donation to our selected charity. At the 2017 West CLT, we will be sponsoring Camp Allstars.

Local children with disabilities develop social skills and improve their health while having fun in the safe and nurturing environment of Camp Allstars. This dynamic camp program meets six hours a day on 75 non-school days a year.  Specialized Needs Recreation offers various recreation programs for youth and adults who have challenges participating in other programs because of a learning disability, sensory impairment, mental, emotional or physical handicap.  Because SNR is a non-profit organization they are able to get a variety of group activities at discount rates so that they can provide memorable opportunities at an affordable price.
