2022 Annual Awards Banquet

The SRS Leadership Association (SRSLA) hosted its Annual Awards Banquet at Aiken Technical College on June 23, 2022. The guest speaker was the Honorable Courtney Clyburn Pope. During the event, SRSLA presented three awards to deserving Site employees.

SRNS Senior Vice-President for Environmental Management Operatons, Janice Lawson, was presented with the Executive Leader of the Year Award, which is the highest achievement SRSLA can bestow upon outstanding leaders in honor of their exemplary dedication to leadership at the Savannah River Site and the local community. SRSLA celebrates Mrs. Lawson as she continues to be her authentic self and a trusted leader.

Procurement Supply, Lead Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist, Cheryl J. Hartfield, was presented with the Leader of the Year Award and received the NMA Chapter President Service Award. She has served SRSLA for many years and shown her leadership abilities in how she has handled many challenges as President amid COVID-19. She pressed forward in executing her role and maintaining the integrity of the organization.
