2022-2023 Annual Awards & Recognition

Description

SRSLA seeks nominations for the Member of the Year Award, which will be presented at the SRSLA Annual Banquet on June 15, 2023, at a Location TBD.  Please submit nominations by May 18, 2023. A nominee must be a continuous NMA member for the past two years and have made significant contributions to Chapter operations and activities.

Executive of the Year:

The award’s objective is to recognize a senior executive who has gained significant recognition for managerial and leadership accomplishments and conducted personal and business affairs per NMA’s Code of Ethics. This is SRSLA’s highest individual award. A plaque will be presented to the recipient at SRSLA’s annual conference.

Leader of the Year

The award’s objective is to recognize those who have gained significant recognition for managerial and/or leadership accomplishments and conducted personal and business affairs per NMA’s Code of Ethics. This is SRSLA’s second-highest individual award. A plaque will be presented to the recipient at SRSLA’s annual conference.

Member of the Year

The objective of the award is to recognize a current SRSLA member for his/her efforts during the past 12 months that enhanced the effectiveness of the Chapter or Council and advanced the purpose and the image of SRSLA. The award recipient will be recognized at the SRSLA’s Annual Conference and will receive a plaque.

CRITERIA:

  1. A nominee must have an outstanding leadership reputation demonstrated throughout their career and community.
  2. A nominee will have shown significant professional accomplishments in leading organizations and managing projects over the past 18 months.
  3. A nominee should regularly apply the principles of contemporary leadership and management (NMA’s Code of Ethics).
