DESCRIPTION:Ethics and Servant Leadership: Managing Through Crisis\nJoin us Thursday, July 25 as Scott MacDonald discusses Ethics and Servant Leadership and how that relates to leading through a crisis.\nIn times of change and crisis, there needs to be something that people and organizations can look to for guidance.  Lighthouses have been a navigational beacon for centuries.  How do leaders create their lighthouse to guide them through crisis and change.\nEthics, Servant Leadership and Authentic leadership are foundational elements of constructing the lighthouse.\nThis webinar will help demonstrate how leaders use these building blocks to guide people and organizations through difficult times.\nAbout Scott\nScott is currently the Market President for Huntington National Bank in Dayton.  He started in his role as Market President in September of 2021.  Prior to working at Huntington Scott was the Director of the MBA Program at the University of Dayton.  While at UD Scott helped develop and launch the online MBA program.  During Scott’s time at UD the MBA program grew to be the largest Graduate Program at the University of Dayton.\nScott has extensive experience in Banking and Financial Services, having worked in Retail, Middle Market and SBA Specialty Banking.\nIn addition to banking Scott has wide experience in other industries having served as the Director of New Ventures for a local Steelcase dealer, the Vice President of Business Affairs for a startup software company, a Director of Economic Development at the Dayton Chamber of Commerce, and a Strategic Planning consultant with a local consulting company.\nIn addition to Scott’s work in industry he also has over 20 years of teaching experience in both graduate and undergraduate classes.  Scott has taught Undergraduate Business Ethics, Finance, Accounting, Business Law, Marketing, Operations, Organizational Behavior, and Economics.  At the Graduate level Scott has taught Business Ethics, Organization Behavior, Business Strategy, and Creativity & Innovation.\nScott is also active in the community and currently serves on the Board of Trustees the Miami Valley School, The Dayton Chamber of Commerce Finance and Audit Committee, and he chairs “Ethics the Dayton Region Manufacturing Association Ambassadors Committee. Scott has served on several boards in the past such as the Dayton Region Manufacturing Association, Dayton Red Cross, Community Capital Development Corp, and Junior Achievement.\nScott is a lifelong Daytonian, with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Miami University in Oxford and an MBA from the University of Dayton.\nRegister Here\n
