These women who made it on their own terms share insights and celebrate their accomplishments in their respective fields.\nRegister Here!\n \nAbout DeNae\nDeNae Shelton is a Senior Financial Analyst on the Enterprise Financial Advisory team who performs testing of Internal Controls over financial reporting across various business areas within the Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI Enterprise (BCBSM).\nCurrently, DeNae is the co-chair of the Masterclass and Fundraising teams at the BCBSM chapter. She joined NMA Chapter 141 in November 2022 to support the Professional Development Committee.\nDeNae is passionate about preparing others for success by making personal and professional connections. She is also a champion for planning team engagements and building morale within the Finance Division.\nDeNae attended the Historically Black College/University (HBCU) Kentucky State University where she was an All-Conference scholar athlete in Women’s Volleyball to earn an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Marketing. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Accountancy from Walsh College and a license and registration in the state of Michigan as a Certification in Public Accountant (CPA).\nHer career has been filled with opportunities and DeNae is optimistic about a deeply analytical, and customer focused future contributing to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives. She wants to be known for being attentively action-oriented, collaboratively trustworthy, confidently competent to deliver superior financial outcomes for the business.\n
