Meet the Facilitator

Sharon Robertson

Huntsville, AL

Sharon Robertson is a graduate of The University of Alabama in Huntsville, with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering. Sharon has worked at The Boeing Company for 18 years, as an Industrial Engineer, Lean facilitator, and currently as a project manager. She has led several projects and is recognized as a subject matter expert in Lean, Lean Manufacturing, and facilitation.

She has supported many programs at Boeing, including the Delta IV rocket program, International Space Station (ISS), the Patriot Missile, and the Product Standards Office. She has been heavily involved in employee involvement, facilitation, and Lean manufacturing throughout her career. She is a certified Lean leader, coach, and trainer and a facilitation trainer. She has received numerous awards, including several for market-based affordability, a Space Flight Awareness award and a NASA Johnson Space Center Group Achievement award for her work on ISS.

Sharon is a charter member, previous vice president, and current president of the Boeing Rocket City Leadership Association in Huntsville, AL. She is also a member of the Society of Women Engineers and SES, The Society for Standards Professionals.

She and her husband Jeff have been married for 30 years.
