Chapters wishing to grant CEU for a non-NMA course must apply by submitting a competed B-4 Form electronically to NMA headquarters before the course begins. A separate B-4 Form is required for each non-NMA course the chapter wants to conduct. Chapters wishing to grant CEU must apply at the beginning of each year, no later than January 15, by submitting a completed B-3 Form electronically to NMA headquarters. The B-3 form is simply your chapter’s professional development “plan” for the year. NMA wants to know that chapters are not haphazardly “shooting darts”, but rather, can show a credible schedule and strategic plan that is indicative of a “learning organization”. [...]
