Robin Furlong to Retire

On behalf of the Executive officers, Board of Directors, staff, and members NMA Executive Director Brian Berg recently announced the upcoming retirement of Robin Furlong on March 31, 2022 after 44 years at NMA. Robin has been tireless in her pursuit of professionalism in the support of the association and our members. Although we will miss her, we are excited for her as she looks forward to a well-deserved retirement which will allow her to spend time with her husband Bill, family, and grandchildren. We owe a debt of gratitude to Robin for her dedication and detail she has always brought to the job, members, and staff. Robin’s career provides a profile of our NMA mission to professional and personal development. We wish Robin the best in her retirement, and we will miss her daily engagement. With Robin’s retirement we are also pleased to introduce the new Director of Member Services.

Abbie Funke to be Director of Member Services

Please welcome Abbie Funke (Funk) to the NMA family as Director of Member Services. Abbie comes from a rich background of working in non-Profits, financial and legal organizations. She will bring her enthusiasm and professionalism to the staff, members, and mission of NMA. Abbie will be working with Robin over the next few months to ensure a smooth transition and continued support for the members.
